Core and Screen creates an enclosed yet permeable workspace, revolving around the sustainable core of the building- rainwater collection through a full height atrium. The screens radiate outwards to create a connection between the core and the public, while guiding circulation between the two. The screens carry the core's thread of sustainability as the east facade features a double-glazed window to insulate heat and noise, and the south facade uses a permeable bamboo screen to shade and ventilate.
