Architecture

This infill library creates a place for community and learning in Charles St. Baltimore. The promenade takes visitors from a very public, interactive ground floor, up to progressivley quiter and reflective areas. The Library features a large cutout on the back, which creates both indoor and outdoor terracing. The alley is transformed into a recreational space to be used freely by the community, and is overlooked by the outdoor terracing.
